Each week within the community we share a listen/read/watch of the week. Normally I find it quite a fun thing to do, but this week was more of a challenge. It's hard knowing where to pitch things at the moment. But oftentimes the hard things are the most important.
Our mission at Traversity is to advance healthcare by building connection across boundaries. If we are going to be true to this then we need to face up to the broader reality that of the world we're living in. Systemic prejudices and unconscious biases, be they based on race, gender or anything else, are real. They result in division and inequality. Access to quality healthcare is a universal right for all people, and it's up to each of us to take action and do more if we want our world to be better.
If you want to join this conversation and work together to build this new reality, we'd love for you to join us.
